Generating and maintaining a web site in-house is a realistic option since the introduction of WYSIWYG html editors. However, good graphic design is essential if you are to maintain the integrity of your company image and hold your customer's attention. We advise our clients to allow us to design the whole site based around a concept which usually starts with the company logo. This allows us to make the look of the site coherent with the company image and can often make all the difference in terms of useability. Once the web site is up and running we encourage customers to maintain the web site in-house, where possible, as the only skills needed are proficiency with a word processor and having spent a little time online. |
